The Cut Tool

  1. Select a shape made up of connected or intersecting curves.
  2. To move a curve without affecting the other curves or intersected curves, tap the small scissors icon to turn on the cut tool.
  3. Move the object you want to move. You will be able to move this object freely without affecting any of the curves initially touching it.
  4. To turn the cut tool off again, tap it once again.

The cut tool enables you to move curves that are connected or touching other curves without having any affect on the other curves. Thus you can easily deconstruct a rectangle with this tool.
